Journeyman Painting with TSOM

I am both pleased and excited to announce a collaboration between Siege the Hills and The Sound of Machines Commission Painting. To really get the upcoming Journeyman League off to a good start we're having a painting class focusing on getting your forces up to snuff.

This event is on the 8th of August from 10:00 to 17:00 at the Epping Creative Centre as usual for Siege the Hills.

We're expecting the cost to be about $15-$20 for the day with a bit of a focus on getting your battle groups painted for Journeyman League in a reasonable amount of time.

Some of the topics include:
  • Airbrushing
  • Oil/Enamel Washing
  • Weathering
  • Glowing Effects

If there are particular things you'd like to learn about let us know and we'll see what we can do to accommodate you. There will be a Q&A session at the end of the day so think up some questions now.

Now I must mention that whilst we have plenty of room for participants we'd really like to know how many people are likely to come. Please let us know if you're going to attend as soon as you know. Even telling us you are probably going to attend will help us gauge how many people are going to come.

Also, if you know some non-siege people who might be interested this is a great time to get them to come along. It is open to everyone, you don't have to be playing in the Journeyman League to get your paint on.

Speaking of the Journeyman League, this event is the official start of the painting part of it. Anything you paint on the day will count for your painting score in Journeyman following all the usual painting rules. Check out the other post for more information on that side of things.
